●レベルスリーがYouTubeとサービス契約

米レベルスリー・コミュニケーションズ社は電気通信サービス（光ファイバー回線サービス）会社です。この度、YouTubeに対するサービス契約の締結を発表しました。同社は既にマイスペースとのサービス契約を締結しており、マイスペースとYouTubeと言うＳNSの両トップ企業を獲得したことになります。

どうもYouTube成長速度の速さについていける点でレベルスリーにアドバンテージがあったようです。マイスペースの時と同じですね。

Level 3 said it will be supporting YouTube's fast-growing online video entertainment service by providing high-capacity lines and services "across a national footprint."
Steve Chen, YouTube's co- founder and chief technology officer, said in a statement the company selected Level 3 because of its "highly advanced" network and services "that would enable us to manage the magnitude of growth that we continue to experience with more than 100 million videos being watched per day on our site."
