●＜ソーシャルテレビ＞　グーグルテレビの組み手Dish Networkがクラウド放送を開始へ！！？

　ニューヨークタイムスに基づいたマーシャブルの記事ですが、グーグルテレビの組み手である衛星放送全米２位のDish Networkが有料の視聴者のみを対象にクラウド放送（stream TV）を始めます。（２０１０年８月２４日開始）
　
　　Discovery Channel, HGTV や MTVなどがネットから見られます。

　対象はset-top boxes とmobile devicesと書いてありますから、パソコンじゃあないようですね。コネクトテレビとモバイル機器だそうです。（iOS, Android (Android) and BlackBerry apps are coming ）最初はセットトップボックス（同社の衛星用のセットトップボックスであるSlingboxまたはDish’s SlingLoaded DVR）によるコネクトテレビ対応から始めるみたいです。電波の変わりにインターネットから（多くは見逃し形式で）番組を見るわけですね。

モバイルは、最初はiPad, iPhone と iPod Touchなどが対象のようです。

　アップス対応ですから時差があります。９月にはBlackberryそして１０月に Androidが続きます。明らかにグーグルテレビを意識した時期の設定と考えられます。

　コムキャストのTV Everywhere はパソコン視聴が基本ですが、Dish NetworkのStreaming TV はアップス対応のためパソコン以外が狙いです。

　いずれパソコン用もアップスで対応するのでしょうが。

　明らかにグーグルテレビに対する準備を兼ねていると考えられます。

According to The New York Times, the first wave of content will include shows from the Discovery Channel, HGTV and MTV. Dish plans to serve both TV shows and movies, but most of the content will only be available to subscribers. Some clips or trailers might stream to you even if you’re not a subscriber, but full-length programs and movies will generally be restricted.

We said it when TV Everywhere was announced, and we’ll say it again: These online services would be more impressive — and more successful at battling piracy — if they were available to anyone who wanted to pay or view ads, without signing up for an expensive, traditional satellite TV package.
