●＜フェスティバル＞　ネバタ砂漠のバーニングマンが始まった！！

　1986年から続いているシリコンバレーの経営者達が仕事のプレッシャーから逃れて夏の終わりをネバタの砂漠で1週間過ごす芸術の祭りバーニングマンが開始しました。米国yahooなどで大騒ぎです。

　焚き火を炊いたり、芸術作品を作ったり・・・ロック音楽も・・・。

　一部の方々はご存知ですよね。このバーニングマンに参加して「これは社会が自己組織化により成立する」と確信を得たフィリップ・ローズデールが仮想社会サービスのセカンドライフを立ち上げました。

Burning Man 2010 is underway, with hedonists from Oregon to Florida and all points in between congregating at a scorched patch of sand in the Black Rock Desert of Northern Nevada to pay homage to counterculture and wild times.

This year's Burning Man celebration takes place Aug. 30-Sept. 6.

The event traces back to 1986, when a group of Silicon Valley executives escaped the pressures of their high-tech jobs by building a bonfire to observe the summer solstice. The event gradually grew over the years as word spread of wild parties and novel countercultural observations in the middle of the nowhere.
