　欧州標準のHbbTVは初心者、一般レベルであり、一方ＢＢＣの CANVASは上級レベルだと言う発言です。両者は補完的な関係とか。

Vermaele notes that HbbTV will serve the needs of many public broadcasters well where they want catch-up TV and super-teletext to enhance their broadcast services. “I think for basic services harmonization may be possible, like for on-demand and teletext. Maybe HbbTV will be positioned as a lower level and Canvas as a more advanced level.”
